Summary of Request

The Department of Social Services (CalWORKs Home Visiting Program) has allocated $102,830 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 to support the CalWORKs Home Visiting Program. This program provides funding for services that support eligible participants in Mendocino County through home visits designed to enhance family and child outcomes. These funds support the maintenance of the CalWORKs Home Visiting Program’s capacity and services, ensuring continued outreach and support to families in need. Additionally, this funding supports efforts to enhance family stability and early childhood development through evidence-based home visiting services. This allocation allows the department to continue to meet the needs of families while ensuring compliance with the state’s guidelines and expectations for the program.
