Summary of Request:
Bart Kronfeld, Esq. has provided Conflict Public Defender Legal Services for the County for over 15 years. With an office on the Coast, Mr. Kronfeld is able to accept assigned conflict Public Defender cases, including trials, assigned to the Ten Mile and Point Arena Courts for felonies, misdemeanors, and juvenile cases. Upon order from the Court, Mr. Kronfeld provides legal services without expense to the defendant. Mr. Kronfeld submits quarterly forms as required by the State subvention to the Office of the Public Defender and an annual report as required by Government Code section 27710.
The proposed Agreement took longer than anticipated during the review process, necessitating a retroactive start date of July 1, 2023.
