Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
On April 5, 2022, the Board approved Agreement No. 22-077 with Allen Glaessner Hazelwood Werth, LLP in the amount of $50,000 for legal services for the period of April 5, 2022 through June 30, 2023.
Summary of Request:
County Counsel is requesting the Board to approve the amendment to Agreement No. 22-077 with Allen Glaessner Hazelwood Werth, LLP extending the expiration date from June 30, 2023 to June 30, 2024 to continue to provide legal defense as conflict counsel for litigation personnel matters. Previously, the individual defendants were represented jointly until the County learned that it was no longer able to do so because a conflict of interest has arisen. Because of this, the County is continuing to provide separate representation to each County defendant.
