Approve retroactive agreement with Greater Ukiah Business and Tourism Alliance in the amount of $91,850 for the Mask Up Mendo Marketing Services, term starting October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021; authorize the Chief Executive Officer to sign any amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Summary of Request

Greater Ukiah Business and Tourism Alliance will provide marketing services to implement the Mask Up Mendo Program, to include advertisement in media outlets, billboard signage, outreach to targeted groups, distribution of program’s educational materials and masks, provide support to North Coast Opportunities (NCO) for LatinX outreach, distribution of adequate supplies for the “Shop Safe” messaging to ensure safety in 2020 Holiday season and recruitment of volunteers for outreach efforts.

 

This contract is retroactive due to the COVID-19 emergency and the need for these services to begin as soon as possible.
