Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

By Resolution Number (No.) 22-126 (June 7, 2022), the Board of Supervisors approved the list of Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) projects for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-23. By Resolution No. 22-143 (June 21, 2022), the Board approved the Mendocino County FY 2022-23 Budget. The narrative on page 57 of the FY 2022-23 Budget affirms the Board’s priority to invest in the Mendocino County Department of Transportation’s (MCDoT) road corrective maintenance funds to improve road surfaces with seals or asphalt overlays.                     

 

Summary of Request

The Mendocino County FY 2022-23 Budget, in an effort to meet the public transparency requirements of Senate Bill 1 (SB 1), the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, presented the narrative on page 57 and the list of RMRA projects on page 513. The following list of projects is anticipated to utilize RMRA funds for FY 2023-24: 2023 Corrective/Preventative Maintenance Project [Philo Greenwood Road, County Road (CR) 132, and Cameron Road, CR 516]; 2024 Corrective/Preventative Maintenance Project [Mountain View Road, CR 510]; and 2025 Corrective Preventative Maintenance Project [Feliz Creek Road, CR 109, Hewlitt & Sturtevant Road, CR 112, McDowell Street, CR 115E, Sanel Street, CR 115B, Harrison Street, CR 115A, Howell Street, CR 115F, Mountain House Road, CR 111, East Side Rancheria Road, CR 105, and Nokomis Road, CR 117].
