On November 7, 2023 the Board of Supervisors ordered that no election be held for the November 13, 2023 Safety Member election pursuant to Government Code Section 31523.
Summary of Request:
Alex Land, incumbent General Member, 2nd Seat, and Zohar Zaied, candidate, Safety Member, 7th Seat are unopposed for the October 14, 2025, Board of Retirement Elections. Therefore, pursuant to Government Code Section 31523, the Board of Supervisors shall order that no election be held and shall direct the clerk to cast unanimous ballots in favor of such candidate/s.
