Approve Agreement with EVA Green Power, Inc. in the amount of $70,000 for professional engineering and construction management services to complete the California Energy Commission Clean Transportation Program Rural Electric Vehicle Grant project design and construction management at 501 Low Gap Road Ukiah and 727 South State Street Ukiah for the period from the date of execution through December 31, 2025; and authorize the Chair to sign the same.

Acceptance of Revised Implementation Plan and costs for the California Energy Commission (CEC), Clean Transportation Program Rural Electric Vehicle (REV) Grant and approval of the revenue grant agreement with CEC for the REV Grant, in the amount of $655,702 on March 14, 2023, for electric vehicle charging stations at the Administration Center and the Yokayo Social Services Center in Ukiah.
Summary of Request:
On March 14, 2023, the Board of Supervisors accepted the Revised Implementation Plan and detailed budgeting costs for the CEC, Clean Transportation Program REV Grant in the amount of $655,702 and identified the PG&E Carbon Footprint Reduction set aside as the source for the County matching funds in the amount of $169,280.
In October of 2023, the County issued Request for Proposal (RFP) 055-23 seeking qualified architectural and engineering firms for the engineering, site design, and construction management for the CEC, Clean Transportation Program REV Grant Project. EVA Green Power, Inc. was determined to be the most qualified vendor through that competitive process and the General Services Agency recommends awarding them a contract for their bid amount of $70,000. Under direction of General Services Agency, Facilities Division staff, this contract provides for professional engineering, site design and construction management services for the CEC, Clean Transportation Program REV Grant Project at the Mendocino County Administration Center Campus, 501 Low Gap Road, Ukiah and Mendocino County Social Services Yokayo Complex, 727 South State Street, Ukiah.
