Summary of Request:
In August 2023, Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 047-23 was posted for Public Health Consulting services. Conduent Healthy Communities Corporation (Conduent), a digital business solutions and services company located in East Florham Park, New Jersey, was the only applicant to respond to RFP No. 047-23. Conduent serves commercial, government and transportation entities, helping them enhance customer experiences, improve performance, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs.
Since RFP No. 047-23 failed to yield competitive bids, and since Conduent’s qualifications meet Mendocino County Public Health’s (PH) requirements for Public Health Consulting services, Conduent was chosen to contract with PH to complete the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and Strategic plan. The CHNA has been completed. The Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) was not included in the original contact. The CHIP is required to complete the Strategic plan. The extension is needed for Conduent to provide the project management to complete the Community Health Improvement Plan as part of the strategic plan development.
