Approval of Appropriation of Funds from additional revenue in the State Other Line (82-5490) increasing by $58,000 for Fiscal Year 2024/25 to increase Communication (86-2060) by $875, increasing Software – Short Term (86-2228) by $10,250, increasing Travel In County (86-2250) by $7,500, and increase Special Department Expense (86-2239) by $24,158 to help cover unexpected bills that need to be paid in the Fiscal Year 2024/25; approve line item change of $24,639 from Special Department Expense (86-2239) to Contracts to Other Agencies (86-3280) to correctly apply charges already made to California Department of Measurement Standards; and authorize the Chair to sign the same.

Summary of Request:
The Agriculture Department will be bringing in an additional $58,000 in revenue that they are requesting to use $42,783 of to pay unexpected bills that need to be paid in Fiscal Year 2024/25. The remaining balance of $15,217 of additional revenue will be going into General Funds.
Also approve a line item change of $24,639 from Special Department Expense (86-2239) to Contract to Other Agencies (86-3280) for bills already paid to the California Department of Measurement Standards so that the correct line item reflects this payment.
