Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
On June 20, 2023, the Board of Supervisors adopted the Master Position Allocation Table for the FY 2023-2024 Budget, Resolution Number 23-109.
Summary of Request:
The Human Resources Department is charged, as part of the overall maintenance of the classification and compensation plan, to evaluate current classifications, create new classifications (including appropriate salary levels), reclassify positions, examine requests for salary grade adjustments, analyze allocations, and make recommendations for additions, modifications, and corrections.
The Probation Department is requesting to delete positions numbers 433, 436, 437, 999, 2737 and 2740 (Youth Corrections Office), budget unit 2550 from the position allocation table. These positions are unfunded and have been vacant up to 2 years.
Because these positions are vacant unfunded frozen there is no fiscal impact to the department.

Do not adopt recommendation and direct staff.
