Adopt Resolution approving second amendment to Board of Supervisors Agreement 12-053/Department of Transportation Agreement No. 110121, with Quincy Engineering, Inc. (QEI), for a total amount of $15,800, for additional professional design services, for the term starting upon execution of the Agreement and continuing through December 10, 2018, for the Rowes Creek Bridge replacement on Sherwood Road, County Road 311, milepost 5.52 (Willits area); and authorize Chair to sign same.

Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
By Resolution No. 12-079 (May 22, 2012), the Board approved Agreement No. 12-053/DOT Agreement No. 110121 with QEI for plans, specifications, and estimate bid package for the Rowes Creek Bridge Replacement project.
Summary of Request:
Amendment No. 2 provides for additional funds needed to complete the permitting process and to comply with changing regulations from the regulatory agencies such as Fish & Wildlife, and State Water Boards, including designing a retention basin for surface water runoff. Additional funds are also needed to cover site meetings to coordinate with the utility companies that are affected by this project.

Deny approval of Amendment No. 2 to BOS Agreement No. 12-053/DOT Agreement No. 110121.
