Summary of Referral

On March 15 and May 16, 2016, the Board of Supervisors provided direction to staff to create a comprehensive ordinance that address all cannabis license types allowed under the State Medical Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act of 2015, in addition to cultivation.   Staff from the Executive Office, Planning and Building, Environmental Health and Treasure Tax-Collector, will provide an overview of the proposed cannabis business license ordinance and zoning regulation.  Staff request input and direction from the committee.
