March 15, 2022, the Board of Supervisors accepted a presentation and provided direction to the General Services Agency Director to proceed with the phased in implementation of the Enterprise Fleet Management program, including submitting related Enterprise Fleet Management agreement(s) and related transactions at a future Board meeting.
Summary of Request:
On March 15, 2002, the Board of Supervisors provided direction to the General Services Agency to proceed with implementing an equity lease agreement program with Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc. related to the operations and replacement of the County’s vehicle fleet. After an in-depth analysis of the County’s fleet, it was recommended that replacing the County’s qualified vehicles with leased vehicles was the most effective, efficient, and sustainable plan.
Staff is requesting that the Board of Supervisors authorize and approve the Equity Lease Agreement and related Self Insurance Addenda, Assignment Agreement to Sell, Consignment Auction Agreement for Sale between the County of Mendocino and Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc.
Additionally, staff is requesting that the Board of Supervisors authorize the General Services Agency to sign all subsequent transactions, including leases that result from signing the Equity Lease Agreement.
