Summary of Request:
AAA Northern California, Nevada, and Utah’s Child Passenger Safety Donation Program has funds available for Mendocino County to purchase child safety seats. These seats will be distributed by Social Services and Public Health staff who hold a Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification through SafeKids USA. Seats will be distributed to low-income families in Mendocino County. Seat distribution will be monitored by the Mendocino County Car Seat Safety Program.
Social Services submitted the AAA Donation Application on January 30, 2022. Donation request decisions are anticipated to be released by March 11, 2022, and, if awarded, Social Services must submit the Revenue Agreement by April 15, 2022.
