2010 - Mendocino County Air Quality Management District Board of Directors authorized the District to design the current seal.
2011 - Mendocino County Air Quality Management District Board of Directors approved current seal.
Summary of Request:
The Mendocino County Air Quality Management District has authority under California Health and Safety Code Section 40701(c) to adopt and modify its official seal. The Mendocino County Air Quality Management District current seal has been utilized for over a decade. District staff believe current seal requires updating to better reflect the District’s Mission: To Protect and Manage Air Quality, an essential public resource upon which the health of the community depends. Several designs were crafted; the proposed seal, which is attached to the proposed resolution as Exhibit A, was chosen with the assistance of District Staff.
