Summary of Request

The Sheriff’s Office is seeking approval of an Agreement for Jail Gardening Management Services during Fiscal Year 2025-26. This initiative is designed to provide incarcerated individuals with meaningful work and skills development through participation in gardening activities. Under this Agreement, Joshua Sternberg will manage and oversee the gardening program within the Jail. The program contributes to the rehabilitation of incarcerated individuals by teaching them valuable skills and work ethics that can aid with their reintegration into society upon release.
