Summary of Request:
FEI.Com, Inc., is a software company located in Columbia, Maryland providing support and maintenance services for Mendocino County’s version of the Web-based Infrastructure for Treatment Services (“MendoWITS”) Electronic Health Record system used by Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS), Substance Abuse Disorders Treatment.
The Fiscal Year 2019-20 Agreement includes support and maintenance of the MendoWITS ad-hoc reporting service/system, various enhancements to existing modules, and additional support services to allow a smooth transition of the MendoWITS system into Avatar, the electronic health record system currently used for Mental Health records. BHRS has been contracting with NetSmart Technologies since May 2, 2018, to make this transition. Enhancements provided in the proposed Agreement take into consideration requests from Mendocino County users and ensure compliance with requests from the California Department of Health Care Services.
BHRS sent the proposed Agreement to FEI.Com, Inc., on May 7, 2019, for signatures. Due to staffing changes FEI.Com, Inc., was unable to sign and return the contract until June 20, 2019. BHRS then scheduled the contract for Board approval on the next available Board meeting.
