Summary of Request:
Recognizing that counties may not have the capacity to respond to the state’s requirement to report on quality/Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures, CalMHSA calculates those measures on behalf of 43 counties managing Mental Health Plans, Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System Plans, and Drug Medi-Cal State Plans. This work creates a standard approach and saves time and resources, allowing counties to dedicate time to improving measure performance.
Behavioral Health and Recovery Services entered into this agreement retroactive to January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2026, on January 13, 2026. This Amendment No. 1 is intended to provide an updated terms of Service and costs associated with Measurement Year 2026/Reporting Year 2027 and the addition of Attachment A - Attestation of Authority to Collect and Exchange Data. The Agreement Term is revised from the original end date of December 31, 2026, to a new end date of December 31, 2029.
