Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
Adoption of Mendocino County Code Chapter 20 “Zoning”, Divisions II (Coastal). This code authorizes the Coastal Permit Administrator to administratively approve certain projects without a public hearing, provided that the approval is reported to the Board of Supervisors prior to the permit becoming effective.
Summary of Request:
An after the fact Coastal Development Administrative Permit to remove an existing 288 square foot mobile home; install a 385 square foot manufactured home; construct a 220 square foot deck; and install a replacement leach field, well, and 125 amp panel for the existing pump house. Existing development and infrastructure to remain on site includes a well and septic system. The Coastal Development Permit was administratively approved by the Coastal Permit Administrator (CPA) on April 23, 2018 and requires the Board of Supervisors authorization for issuance of the permit. The CPA staff report is attached for review.
Alternative Action/Motion:
Any one member of the Board may direct that the Coastal Development Permit, CDP_ 2017-0042 (Morse) be scheduled for a public hearing and processed pursuant to Mendocino County Code Section 20.720.045.
