Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
On October 6, 2015 ORD 4345 and RES NO. 15-156 (Policies and Procedures for Agricultural Preserves and Williamson Act Contracts) were approved by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Mendocino.
Summary of Request:
Rawah Vineyards, LLC and Anderson Vineyards, Inc. recently completed a boundary line adjustment to address a minor encroachment. As a condition of the adjustment, they were required to amend the existing Williamson Act contracts to conform to the new boundaries. This rescind and re-enter of the Williamson Act contract completes the necessary condition.
Alternative Action/Motion:
1) The Board of Supervisors rejects the request to rescind and re-enter the Williamson Act contracts and leaves the existing contracts in place.
