Summary of Request

The back patio adjacent to the food service area at the Administration Center, located at 501 Low Gap Road in Ukiah, requires a security enclosure to control access to the exterior patio when the building is closed to the public. The patio was intended as a dining area for the food service concession serving the Administration Center. Facilities staff has found it to be very time consuming to maintain this patio area while it remains accessible after hours when the building is closed and vacant. The enclosure will limit access to the patio to the hours of operation of the food service concession and allow staff to maintain the area for dining purposes. Approval of this project will allow Facilities & Fleet to proceed with implementation of a fenced enclosure around the patio area.

Alternative Action/Motion:

Do not approve the project and provide alternate direction to staff.
