Summary of Request

County Counsel provides legal representation, advice and counsel to the County, its governing Board of Supervisors, County Departments, various special districts, and other public agencies, as mandated and authorized by California statutes and local ordinances. From time to time, the County has retained various outside law firms to provide specialized legal services and consultation, and one such area of specialization is the tax sharing and annexation process. Redwood Public Law, LLP, provides specialized legal advice and analysis regarding the tax sharing and annexation process. This Amendment increases the original contract amount of $10,000 by $40,000 for a new total of $50,000.
