Adopt Resolution approving retroactive Performance Agreement No. 25-50138 with the California Department of Health Care Services in the amount of $0 for the period of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, for the County to provide and arrange for the Specialty Mental Health Services as defined in this intergovernmental Agreement to Medi-Cal members residing in Mendocino County who meet the applicable access criteria; authorize the Health Services Director to sign the Agreement and any amendments that do not exceed the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Summary of Request:
Mendocino County routinely signs a contract with the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) that allows the County to recoup federal and state funds (Federal Financial Participation and State Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment dollars) and all other revenue streams awarded to the County to provide and arrange for the provision of Specialty Mental Health Services. This Agreement outlines expectations related to services provided under the County’s Mental Health Plan. On June 19, 2025, the County received the latest contract from DHCS, Agreement No. 25-50138 dated to begin on July 1, 2025, due to the timeframe in which it was received, it required the department to seek retroactive approval from the Board of Supervisors.
