Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
Regulation 1 – Air Pollution Control Rules was adopted on July 13, 1976. The last amendment to the regulation was adopted on February 15, 2011.

Summary of Request:
In accordance with California Health and Safety Code 42311, an Air Quality Management District may adopt a schedule of annual fees for evaluation, issuance, and renewal of permits as well as a schedule of fees to be assessed on areawide or indirect sources of air contaminant emissions which are regulated by the district.

Consideration and possible approval of a resolution amending the Regulation 1 fee schedules incorporating implementation of the annual California Consumer Price Index (CPI) adjustments in accordance with local rule 1-310 is requested by the Air Quality Management District. The Executive Office has prepared a memorandum to the Board of Supervisors regarding the proposal to publish the annually calculated Fee Schedule CPI adjustments.
