Approve Allocation Agreement with California Department of Public Health, in the amount of $816,742, to support Hepatitis C Virus Prevention and Collaboration, and fulfill any other conditions stipulated by the California Department of Public Health, Sexually Transmitted Diseases Control Branch, effective July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2028; authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
In March 2024, the Mendocino County Public Health Department (PH) received a Notice of Award (without prior application) from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Sexually Transmitted Diseases Control Branch, to award State general funds to local health jurisdictions (LHJs) to support Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) prevention and control activities.

The proposed Allocation Agreement from CDPH in the amount of $816,742 was automatically awarded to PH based on Mendocino County's status as a LHJ within the State of California. This allocation is for a full four years, is effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2028, and PH will use funds according to the conditions outlined in the Annual Workplan.
