Adopt the Resolution approving Department of Transportation Agreement Number 230025 with Mead & Hunt, Inc., in the amount of $2,315,000 for aviation engineering and consulting services for various assignments on projects at Little River and Round Valley Airports, and authorizing the Director of Transportation to sign any and all amendments to the agreement not to exceed $30,000 (County Airports); and authorize Chair to sign same.

Mead & Hunt has had numerous development and engineering contracts approved by the Board.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
During the three-year period of DOT Agreement No. 230025, projects requiring the development of construction documents and planning documents for airport development projects are expected to arise. Mendocino County DOT does not have staff with specialized abilities to address the specific requirements of aviation projects. As required by federal funding sources, DOT conducted a Qualifications-Based Selection for professional services (Brooks Act). This process also meets state requirements under Sections 4525 through 4529.5 of the Government Code (popularly known as the Mini-Brooks Act).
