Approve amendment to Agreement No. BOS-23-125 with Mendocino County Youth Project, in the amount of $177,491, for a new Agreement total of $1,107,491, to provide Specialty Mental Health services to eligible Medi-Cal beneficiaries of Mendocino County, effective July 1, 2023, through a new end date of September 30, 2024 (previous end date: June 30, 2024); authorize the Health Services Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Mendocino County Youth Project (MCYP) provides Specialty Mental Health Services (SMHS) and Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) programs to Mendocino County youth (0-17) and up to 100 transitional age youth (18-24) residents within the schools, community, and office.

On July 11, 2023, the County of Mendocino Board of Supervisors (BOS) approved Agreement No. BOS-23-125 with MCYP to provide SMHS to eligible Medi-Cal beneficiaries of Mendocino County. The SMHS provided by MCYP through this Agreement include Assessment, Plan Development, Collateral, Therapy, Rehabilitation, Targeted Case Management, and Intensive Care Coordination.
