RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve Agreement with Redwood Valley County Water District in the amount of $200,000 from one-time Pacific Gas and Electric disaster settlement funds for purchase and installation of two drive pump control panels, and maintenance of one transfer pump at the Lake Mendocino pump site, effective upon full execution through June 30, 2023; authorize the Assistant Chief Executive Officer to sign amendments that do not increase the total contracted amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
March 9, 2021, the Board of Supervisors, during the budget workshop, discussed obtaining input from the Community and County Departments regarding priority projects within the County that could be funded by the PG&E Disaster Settlement Funds.
May 11, 2021, Item 5(b), the Board accepted presentation by Redwood Valley County Water District outlining requested purchases and projects, including replacement of lake pump controls and purchase of metered fire hydrant locks to be funded with a portion of Pacific Gas and Electric Disaster Settlement Funds.
August 17, 2021, Item 4(f), the Board accepted the Prioritized Spend for projects utilizing Pacific Gas and Electric Disaster Settlement Funds, including approval to award $200,000 to Redwood Valley County Water District (RVCWD) for lake pump controls.
