Adopt Resolution authorizing the processing of a Consolidated Coastal Development Permit, LCP_2024-0002 (Noyo Harbor District), by the California Coastal Commission, for the Noyo Harbor District (NHD) to install an ice house and associated development for the benefit of commercial and recreational fishermen; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Noyo Harbor District (NHD) requests the processing of a Consolidated Coastal Development Permit to install an ice house and associated development for the benefit of commercial and recreational fishermen. LCP Maps show that portions of the project site are within the California Coastal Commission's post-LCP certification permit jurisdiction pursuant to Public Resources Code ?30519. The Coastal Act was amended by Senate Bill 1843 effective January 1, 2007, which allows for a consolidated permitting process for projects in which the Coastal Development Permit authority is shared by local governments and the Coastal Commission. Therefore, NHD is seeking adoption of a resolution which would consolidate the permit review under the Coastal Commission for only this project, to streamline the permit process.
