PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 20, 2023, the Board of Supervisors adopted the Master Position Allocation Table for the FY 2023-2024 Budget, Resolution Number 23-109.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Human Resources Department is charged, as part of the overall maintenance of the classification and compensation plan, to evaluate current classifications, create new classifications (including appropriate salary levels), reclassify positions, examine requests for salary grade adjustments, analyze allocations, and make recommendations for additions, modifications, and corrections.

The Women Infant Children (WIC) division of Public Health has requested the addition of 1.0 FTE for a Community Health Worker II and the deletion of 1.0 FTE, Health Program Eligibility Worker. In order to have adequate staff to provide services to the public, support the department, and meet the state requirements, the addition of a Community Health Worker II will allow the department to provide services both inland and on the Coast.
