Adopt Resolution approving Department of Transportation (DOT) Agreement Number 180068 with Mead and Hunt, Inc., for the term starting upon execution of the Agreement through December 31, 2019, in the amount of $117,967.74 for Dam Inundation Zone Delineation Mapping, Risk Reduction & Emergency Action Plan preparation, and authorizing the Director of Transportation to sign any and all amendments to the agreement not exceeding $11,796 (Willits and Talmage Areas); and authorize Chair to sign same.

Funding for the Dam Inundation Zone Delineation Mapping, Risk Reduction & Emergency Action Plan preparation was approved through Budget Unit (BU) 1910 in the Fiscal Year 2018/19 County Budget on June 6, 2018.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Senate Bill (SB) 92 requires dam owners to prepare a dam inundation map and emergency action plan (EAP) for each dam, with the exception of low-hazard dams. SB 92 affects Chinquapin Dam, which is classified high-hazard and Mendocino 3 Upper and Mendocino Middle Dams, which are classified significant-hazard.
