PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
The Board previously approved the purchase of a diesel woodchipper earlier in the current fiscal year as part of the FY 2025-26 adopted budget for Fund 1200, Budget Unit 3010, Org RO, Line Item 864370 (fixed assets). This request is to purchase an additional unit using funds already authorized within the same line item.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Approve the purchase of one diesel woodchipper in FY 2025-26 using existing funds in Fund 1200, Budget Unit 3010, Org RO, Line Item 864370 (Fixed Assets). No additional funds are requested from the Road Fund or any other source.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION/MOTION:
Direct staff to defer the purchase of the diesel woodchipper.
