Approve retroactive Service Agreement with Equifax Workforce Solutions LLC, in the amount of $4,125, for the term of May 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, with automatic renewal for one-year terms, to provide unemployment cost management services; authorize the Chief Executive Officer or designee to approve future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Equifax Workforce Solutions provides unemployment cost management services that support accurate verification, reporting, and compliance functions for County operations. These services include employment and income verification, payroll data reporting, related administrative support services, and representation at hearings. Equifax's systems enhance operational efficiency, reduce administrative time on County staff, and improve the accuracy and timeliness of employment and payroll information requests from the California Employment Development Department
The Agreement is retroactive to ensure continuity of services that have already been provided and to formalize the County's relationship with Equifax under approved contractual terms. Human Resources previously contracted with Equifax for the same services until the contract expired recently. The Agreement is retroactive due to delays on vendor side in final internal execution of the contract.
