PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On February 4, 2020, Supervisor Haschak stated there was significant interest in a Board of Supervisor workshop dealing with Hispanic issues. There was agreement that since there will be a workshop about Emergency Medical Services on March 23, 2020 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm, then an appropriate time for the workshop on Hispanic issues would be from 6:00-8:00pm that same evening.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Workshop will contain discussion of Hispanic issues in Mendocino County including economic development, avenues to leadership, employment policies, institutional barriers, promotion of census count, county policies that could be enacted to support full inclusion of the Hispanic community in Mendocino County.
