Approve Agreement (First Amendment to Agreement PA-25-28, PH-24-25) with Data Strategy Consulting, Sarah Charlotte Marikos, in the amount of $45,000 for new total of $90,000 for data and epidemiological services to support Mendocino County Public Health, effective July 1, 2024 through a new end date of June 30, 2025 (original end Date: December 31, 2024); authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize the Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Mendocino County Public Health (MCPH) is currently using Data Strategy Consulting, an epidemiological firm, to provide data that supports and advances MCPH's ability to perform its assessment function through public health surveillance and investigation of health issues and root causes. The data is used to monitor health programs and ensure they target the needs of communities, provide intelligence related to diseases and conditions monitored by the CDC and CDPH, and utilized by grant-funded programs to apply for grants and for required grant reporting.
