RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Adopt Resolution designating the Arts Council of Mendocino County as the official county-designated organization that supports Arts and Cultural Activity to individuals and communities throughout the county and authorizing the Arts Council of Mendocino County to apply for and receive funds from the California Arts Council State-Local Partnership Program, unless and until such designation and authorization is altered or rescinded by future action of the Board of Supervisors; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On February 15, 2000, the Board adopted a Resolution to approve and support the submittal of a "State-Local Partnership Program" application by the Arts Council of Mendocino County (ACMC). Every subsequent year thereafter, the Board has adopted a Resolution designating the ACMC as the County's authorized partner for the California Arts Council's State Local Partnership Program.
