Approve Agreement (Agreement No. 01-CCEP-06) with California Department of Transportation in the amount of $305,000, for the Clean California Community Cleanup and Employment Pathways Grant Program, effective upon full execution, through November 30, 2027; authorize the Health Services Director or designee to sign any amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On September 5, 2025, Health Services (HS) received an invitation to apply for the Clean California Community Cleanup and Employment Pathways Grant Program. For locally led litter abatement in local public rights-of-way that transform them into spaces the community can be proud of. Goals are to clean up litter/graffiti, reestablish native plants, and establish workforce pathways for vulnerable populations.

HS created the grant application for the Clean California Community Cleanup and Employment Pathways Grant Program, and submitted it to the California Department of Transportation (DOT) on November 3, 2025.
