PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On May 7, 2019, the Board adopted Resolution No. 19-175, establishing the total mileage of County Maintained Roads at 1,016.86 miles as of December 31, 2018. On April 20, 2020, the Board adopted Resolution No. 20-044, establishing the total mileage of County Maintained Roads at 1,016.86 miles as of December 31, 2019. On May 4, 2021, the Board adopted Resolution No. 21-064, establishing the total mileage of County Maintained Roads at 1,016.86 miles as of December 31, 2020. On March 1, 2022, the Board adopted Resolution No. 22-053, establishing the total mileage of County Maintained Roads at 1,017.81 miles as of December 31, 2021.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The California Streets and Highways Code requires that in May of each year, the County submit to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) any additions to or exclusions from its adopted maintained mileage during the preceding calendar year. The Mendocino County Department of Transportation (MCDoT) has determined that 1.25 miles of road at the end of Foster Mountain Road, County Road (CR) 306B, were vacated and five new roads in the Ukiah Area have been added, Tierra Drive (CR 227P, 0.03 miles in length), Seiji Way (CR 227Q, 0.12 miles in length), Luna Lane (CR 227R, 0.04 miles in length), Sol Lane (CR 227S, 0.018 miles in length), and Estrella Court (CR 227T, 0.12 miles in length). ...
