Approve the Lease Agreement with GEO Reentry Services LLC for County premises located at 579 Low Gap Road in Ukiah, CA for the purpose of operating a Day Reporting Center (DRC) pursuant to separately executed Standard Services Agreement for the period of July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2027; and authorize the Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Board of Supervisors has the authority contained within Government Code Section 26227 to establish or fund County programs necessary to meet the social needs of the County, including in the areas of law enforcement, public safety, rehabilitation and welfare, may contract with private agencies to operate those programs and make available to said private agencies County property that is not required for its use at this time. GEO Reentry Services LLC operates the Adult Day Reporting Center (DRC) for the County of Mendocino Probation Department as approved by the Community Corrections Partnership and funded through Community Corrections (AB109) funds. The DRC is operated within a County facility.
In consideration for the value of the County premises occupied by GEO Reentry Services LLC for the purpose of operating the DRC, the monthly rate of $1,300.00 has been established. The amount of this monthly rate is deducted from the ...
