Approve Agreement with Armorous Private Security in the amount of $192,691.20, to provide security guard services at Mendocino County Department of Social Services office locations, effective October 4, 2024, through October 3, 2025; authorize Social Services Director or designee to sign any amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Mendocino County Department of Social Services, Special Investigations Unit (SIU), issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) No. RFP-046-22 for security guard services on June 17, 2022. SIU selected Armorous Private Security (Armorous) as the top ranked vendor to contract with Social Services for security guard services. The proposed Agreement with Armorous in the amount of $192,691.20, is the third consecutive year of security guard services from Armorous under RFP-046-22.
Pursuant to the proposed Agreement, Armorous will continue to provide three (3) uniformed and supervised Security Guards for forty hours per week at each of the following Social Services sites:
