Approve Agreement with Harwood Memorial Park DBA Laytonville Healthy Start, in the amount of $60,000 to provide Mental Health Services Act, Prevention and Early Intervention and Community Services and Support services, effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024; authorize the Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Harwood Memorial Park DBA Laytonville Healthy Start provides important services for both the Community Services and Support (CSS) and the Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) subsections of the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA). Through the proposed Agreement, the CSS Laytonville Healthy Start program will provide valuable Outreach and Engagement to the community, helping individuals navigate mental illness, assessments, and referrals to other providers. This Outreach and Engagement is designed to help identify which services are needed and are appropriate for the individual, and to connect them with the mental health network of providers and Specialty Mental Health Services in Mendocino County.
