RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve retroactive revenue Agreement with the State of California, Department of State Hospitals in the amount of $712,282.60 for the administration of a Jail-Based Competency Treatment (JBCT) Program at the Mendocino County Jail for the period of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026; authorize the Sheriff to sign any future amendments that do not affect the maximum Agreement amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On May 17, 2019, the Board approved Revenue Agreement BOS-19-133 with the State of California, Department of State Hospitals (DSH) to establish a Small County Model JBCT Program at the Mendocino County Jail. On July 14, 2021, the Board approved Revenue Agreement BOS-21-146 with the DSH for the administration of the JBCT Program that was effective through June 30, 2024. On September 24, 2024, the Board approved Revenue Agreement BOS-24-165 with the DSH for the administration of the JBCT Program that was effective through June 30, 2025.
