PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 21, 2022, the Board of Supervisors adopted the Master Position Allocation Table for the FY 2022-2023 Budget, Resolution Number 22-149.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Human Resources Department is charged, as part of the overall maintenance of the classification and compensation plan, to evaluate current classifications, create new classifications (including appropriate salary levels), reclassify positions, examine requests for salary grade adjustments, analyze allocations, and make recommendations for additions, modifications, and corrections.

The Board of Directors for the Mendocino County Fair & Apple Show held a Board Meeting on February 13, 2023. During the meeting, the Board approved a salary revision for Management. Attachment A includes the Minutes of the Regular Board Meeting of the Mendocino County Fair & Apple Show stating Management is to reflect thirty-three percent (33%) above state minimum wage which is now at $15.50 per hour. The Mendocino County Fair & Apple Show Board approved Fair Manager rate of pay to be increased to $23.00 per hour.

The impact shown below for the fiscal year is calculated to be retro-active to pay period 05-23 (February 19, 2023) and includes the cost of benefits. The annual recurring cost shown below is including the cost of benefits.
