SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Anderson Valley Community Service District (AVCSD) (formerly known as Anderson Valley Ambulance Services (AVAS)), Covelo Fire Protection District and Elk Community Service District has re-quested that the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors and County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) (as required by Title 13, California Vehicle Code, section 12527(d)(2)) request exemption of certain "Ambulance Drivers" as outlined in Title 13, section 12527(d)(1) from the requirement of obtaining "emergency medical training" within one (1) year of being licensed to drive an ambulance.
