RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve second amendment to BOS Agreement No. 24-148 with ESA to extend the termination date from June 30, 2026, to December 31, 2026, and to amend "Exhibit A - Definition of Services" to include compliance with all applicable terms of the Grant Agreement between the California Coastal Commission and the County, attaching "Attachment A", that place requirements on County Contractors, for the preparation of a Sea Level Rise Resilience Strategy Plan; and authorize the Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On May 23, 2023, the Board of Supervisors signed Resolution #23-091 authorizing the filing of an application for the sea level rise resiliency strategy project to the California Coastal Commission LCP Local Assistance Grant Program and authorized the Chief Executive Officer to execute the grant agreement and submit all documents if awarded. Furthermore, on October 01, 2023, the County entered into grant Agreement No. LCP-23-09, with the California Coastal Commission which specifically calls out the details of the grant awarded and the subsequent contracts.
