SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Dr. James Gerard Flaherty, M.S., M.D., F.A.A.P., provides mandated services as a medical professional for overseeing the California Children's Services (CCS) program within the Mendocino County Public Health (MCPH) department to ensure medical eligibility, and provide essential services such as medical reports, diagnoses, and treatment pathways for program participants. Additionally, in his role as Deputy Health Officer, Dr. Flaherty provides required public health and medical oversight, direction, and guidance for MCPH, supporting the implementation of public health initiatives, disease prevention efforts, and emergency preparedness response. The proposed Agreement will allow Dr. Flaherty to provide these crucial services for CCS program and services as the Deputy Health Officer for MCPH.
