Adopt Resolution Authorizing the Mendocino County Chief Executive Officer to submit a grant application in the amount of $54,696.40 to the California Department of Parks and Recreation Division of Boating and Waterways (DBW) to implement the Quagga and Zebra Mussel Prevention Plan for Mill Creek Ponds; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to receive, sign and execute Agreement with the DBW upon grant award; and be designated to represent the County in carrying out the County's responsibilities under the Agreement; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 4, 2019, the Board of Supervisors authorized funding to the Mendocino County Water Agency to develop a Quagga and Zebra Mussel Plan for the Mill Creek Ponds pursuant to the requirement from the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) identified Mill Creek Ponds as high risk for dreissenid mussel establishment and therefore a high priority for a prevention program.
