On December 16, 2026, the Board approved Agreement No. 25-194 in the amount of $10,000 effective December 16, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
Summary of Request:
County Counsel provides legal representation, advice and counsel to the County, its governing Board of Supervisors, County departments, various special districts, and other public agencies, as mandated and authorized by California statutes and local ordinances. The County has retained various outside law firms to represent the County in a variety of legal matters to provide specialized legal services. In connection with upcoming improvement projects, the County is in need of bond counsel services. Hawkins Delafield & Wood, LLP assisted the County with the Series 2022 Certificates of Participation and is best positioned to assist the County with any questions regarding these certificates going forward.
