SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, awards grants on a competitive basis to small law enforcement agencies in rural locations to support agencies in their efforts to combat violent crime through the implementation of a comprehensive violent crime reduction strategy. The anticipated maximum awarded amount is $300,000. The period of performance will be effective October 1, 2024 and continues for a 36-month period, through September 30, 2027.
