PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 20, 2017, Agreement No. 17-043 was approved to provide contract negotiations and employer-employee relations services. On June 10, 2020, Agreement No. 20-077 was approved to provide ongoing employer-employee relations services. On March 9, 2021, Agreement No. 21-039 was approved to provide professional investigation services. On June 22, 2021, Agreement No. 20-077-A1 was approved to continue to provide ongoing employer-employee relations services.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Board of Supervisors previously contracted with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore ("LCW") to provide Human Resources with legal advice and representation on a range of labor and personnel issues. Since October 2021, after a competitive process, the Board has contracted with the Renne Public Law Group, LLP to perform those same services. During that time, however, a few questions have come up regarding prior matters that would benefit from some direct assistance from LCW.
